University of Iowa Phi Gamma Delta

Mu Deuteron Scholarship Program

Every year the Mu Deuteron chapter gives out over $5,000

Our chapter was originally founded on March 8, 1873, and exists to promote lifelong friendships, to reaffirm high ethical standards and values, and to foster personal development in the pursuit of excellence.

Phi Gamma Delta is committed to providing opportunities for each brother to develop responsibility, leadership, scholarship, and social skills in order to become a fully contributing member of society. It is commonly said that Fiji is “not for college days alone.” It is clear from these founding beliefs and current attitude then that Brotherhood is THE primary aspect of FIJI life. Learning to live with your brothers-and the strengths and challenges each brings to the table-is a great addition not only to the college experience, but to the growth of each brother as a young man.
